Software Engineer responsible for developing firmware to support our new hardware platforms based on Microchip's MCU PIC 18F using assembly and/or C language to be used in espresso semi-auto and vending coffee machines as a first step. Also in a near furture in combination with our software unit in sweden to start developing software at a kernel level to run under Linux and Android OS for our new embedded high-end hardware platform running ARM Cortex A CPUs using C language.


1Responsible to develop, test and debug firmware to run on Microchip's MCU PIC 18F on our new hard-platform for espresso semi-auto machines in combination with our hardware engineer.

2Responsible of changing/modifiying or adding functions to the existing firmware currently in use in our vending line of machines also using Microchip's MCU PIC 18F.

3Responsible to support our Software Engineer in Sweden with Testing and debugging our new high-end embedded hardware platform running Linux and Android on ARM CPUs

4 Responsible to develop, communicate and set with the final PCBA manufacturer a firwmare testing process flow for function verification.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
1Proven experience programing in C/C++
2Proven experience writing firwmare for PIC MCUs, preferably Microchip's 18F PIC family.
3Preferable experience on Atmel 32, TI or NEC/Renesas SuperH PIC MCUs.
4Must have a proven experience in development tools operations (compiler, debugger)
5Thorough understanding of CPU architecture for the MCUs listed above
6Knowledge on basic electronic components
7proven experience in software development flow (version control, bug tracking, software delivery, coding standard...etc)
8Software Development Project Management experience is a plus
93-5 years experience on firmware development for PIC MCU.
10Knowledge on programming for RTOS like Linux for Embedded OS development environment.
11English Fluent in oral, reading and writing. CET 6

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES:
1Teamwork to coordinate tasks with different departments
2Have worked previously on an international company with foregin managers
