Team background:

You will be part of the omnicommerce Solution & Technology team, with a more specific focus on building solutions that help building a unique relationship and communication with Decathlon sport users. You will contribute to improve our capacity to design, develop and manage user centric and innovative IT solutions.

Technical Leader job description:

1. You want to build solid technical foundations for the product delivery teams, such as:

• you define development standards and share best practices with the team

• you share recommendations on development & technology based on your understanding of tech trends and how it can bring value to the team

• You try new technologies, prototype them and use them in real projects

2. You make sure we design great solutions that are easy to maintain and quick to improve

• you help BA/BL to turn business needs/problems into technical solutions with the right architecture, proper level of modularity and the right APIs

• you lead framework design, including not only software framework but also network & hardware infrastructure in partnership with other Decathlon teams

3. You are a born coder, and as tech lead you also help team members become stronger

• you spend a minimum of 25% of your time coding because you like to keep fit!

• you organize code review with internal and external developers

• you coach other developers of the team, you want them to become tech leads

• you participate in recruitment of talented developers

• you set up the community to share knowledge/experience/new tech with other Tech leads or developers on a regular basis

The profile:

1. Education:

- at least Bachelor's degree in information technology

2. Work experience:

- at least 3~5 years experience as developer or tech lead

- successful experience as a solution architect

- team leading experience

- at least expert with 1 programming language, Java, Python or PHP

- familiar with at least one database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB

- familiar with OPS & Linux is a plus

- experience with AWS/CI/CD/Azure is a plus

- international project cooperation is a plus

3. Key skills:

- fluent English in daily communication is a must

- able to work cross-team or cross-department in an agile way

- able to be a part of the team with PO, BA, Dev, QA, etc.

- optimistic & positive, willing to work with challenges

- passionate about new technology & turning technology into solution in an efficient way under complicated circumstances

- fast learner, you are very curious

- sports lover, you enjoy doing sport with your colleagues during lunch time or team meetings!
