Responsibilities:

·Ensure quality procedures are fully understood and implemented by suppliers and inspection and test agents.

·Liaise with OpCo QA personnel to ensure common requirements with respect to QA specifications, DCL, other documentation and procedures

·Evaluate new products to ensure that they comply with defined legal, safety and quality requirements; develop new products in conjunction with merchandise team; advise on artwork with regards to technical information (markings, dimensions, barcode, etc.)

·Work closely with others in Sourcing and Supply Chain teams to ensure assigned tasks are completed on-time, to support project completion according to CPA and shipments OTIF.

·Prepare gold and silver sealed samples; check silver sealed samples and approve gold sealed samples on behalf of the company;

·Assess the quality system of new and existing suppliers against pre-determined criteria; ensure implementation of agreed corrective actions by suppliers and monitor progress;

·Liaise with QC inspectors to ensure effective QC inspection, evaluate pre-shipment inspection reports, and working with the Merchandising team, ensure a resolution is agreed for all 'Fail and 'Pending' reports.

·Develop and maintain good communication with counterparts in sourcing, Supply chain and the Operating Company.

·Investigate customer complaints, identify corrective actions and work with suppliers and merchandisers to implement.



Requirements:

- At least 4-5 years relevant work experience either in a sourcing or manufacturing business;knowledge in seasonal products especially BBQ, garden furniture etc;

- Bachelor degree holder in engineering discipline;

- QA, QC and ISO Quality system knowledge, experience with European standards and directives with product knowledge in lighting products or Christmas products;

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,good team player and solution focused, good language skill
