Key Job Responsibilities

1. Leads the development, implementation and governance of sourcing strategies for assigned commodity categories; including supplier selection, supplier relationship development, supplier performance

optimization, pricing & contract negotiations, leveraging sourcing tools to secure optimum value,understanding & mitigating supply chain risk, etc.

2. Assists Commodity Management Leader or Regional Sourcing Leader in developing, implementing,communicating and ensuring proper governance of the corporate-wide Global Sourcing strategy.

3. Liaise with key stakeholders in Product Management, ISCL, RD&E and others as determined to coordinate business requirements and ensure a stable supply chain while delivering optimum value.

4. Liaise with counterparts in other regions (Americas, EMEA, Asia Pacific, Latin America and India) to collaboratively maximize global leverage in a regionally-autonomous governance structure.

5. Key Metrics & Outcomes include: Ethics, Cost Reduction, DPO, Supplier On Time Delivery & Quality, Supplier Lead Time Reduction, Inflation Mitigation

6. Develops detailed knowledge and understanding of cost drivers and manufacturing/service processes related to assigned commodity categories and leverages this knowledge to optimize value for KMT

Qualifications:

4. Business Performance Measurement - Demonstrates an understanding of internal business processes, external customer segments, strategic direction and business objectives. Aligns business objectives and develops sources of supply based on strategic direction.

5. Customer Relationship Management - Understands organization of internal customer groups, key users and characteristics of these customers. Drives to understand customer requirements and uses this information as an input into sourcing decisions. Develops and fosters mutually beneficial customer relationships.

6. Data Management – Skilled in analytics; leverages ERP software & raw data to organize and prioritize information for decision making.

7. Project Management – Supports Project Management function in designing, planning and managing projects to deliver value-added solutions within defined time and cost parameters.

8. Financial Analysis - Understands financial concepts including invoicing, accounts payable and other financial business processes. Interprets financial data, analyzes cost structures, and determines financial impacts of decisions

9. Education: Bachelor’s Degree (RQ) in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering;

10. Experience: 3+ years in Strategic Sourcing (RQ)

11. Certifications: CPSM (PF)

12. Proficiency: MS Office, Excel, Word & PowerPoint (RQ), Access (PF), SAP (PF), Ariba (PF)
