Job Responsibilities:

  

• Maintain a working relationship with Collins Aerospace Global team and local suppliers;

• Ensure suppliers’ process and products shipped to Collins Aerospace individual end user side meet applicable business unit and contractual requirements.

• Provides guidance and assistance to Collins Engineering or some other specific product and process quality requirements.

• Provides guidance and assistance to Collins Material and Supply Chain leadership during the requirement flow down, evaluation, selection and monitoring of suppliers.

• Administers material review activities on supplier products.

• Administers an effective evaluation and audit program for Collins supply base to ensure conformance to business units\process and product requirements.

• Utilizes lean\six sigma tools to evaluate suppliers’ products and processes. Analyzes root causes of deficiencies and ensures proper corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.

• Participates in cross-functional team efforts to improve suppliers’ products and processes.

• Delivers training materials to suppliers related to the Quality Management System.

• On-site monitor FAI building and progressing.

                    

 

  

Qualifications:

  

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and at least 3 years’ experiences of supplier quality managements;

• Familiar with the mechanical manufacture process, such machining, sheet metal fabrication and metal related special process;

• Experienced with measurement and inspection. GD&T knowledge is required;

• Familiar with NPI process, and APQP\PPAP background is highly preferred;

• Fluent English communication and writing;

• Accepting traveling 50% and flexible to support end customer (Business Sites).

• Problem solving skills set and team work is a must.

• Self-management.
