Responsibilities

Delivery Client Engagements

- Work with a team of professionals to perform high quality advisory projects and help identify performance improvement opportunities for clients

- Effectively manage multiple/simultaneous engagements/tasks

- Work with/supervise staff assigned on engagements

- Assuring consistent quality on projects

- Work within the budget and overall financial target of the project.

- Managing single project to achieve project goal and ensure deliverables are met on time, accurately and within scope

- Identifying and proposing relevant solutions for client projects

- Providing the infrastructure support to ensure that client invoicing is done accurately and on time 

- Monitoring client satisfaction 

Business Development

- Participate in identification, qualifying and selling new engagements

- Assist in developing quality proposals based on specific client requirements

- Seeking opportunities to present KPMG services to up sell within current and potential clients

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest developments and methods in the area of industry planning and investment attraction , both locally in China and Globally

Practice Development

- Establish and maintain/improve internal and external relationships

- Managing staff and creating positive work environment, through goal setting, coaching and mentoring

Specific Experience

- A minimum of 3 years in the areas of industry positioning and planning, industry zone planning, investment attraction, etc

- Experienced in dealing with senior government officials and related government authorities

- Experienced in identify and explore the opportunities in the government sector

- Specific functional areas include: overall planning, strategy planning, zone planning

- Industry experience should include manufacturing industries, service industries, and other industries as a plus

Overall Qualities

- Flexible, creative and innovative approach to problem solving and possess strong presentation & communication skill, also strong interpersonal, analytical and consulting skills, applying creative ways of thinking to solve problems

- Proven business development skills with new clients

- Ability to lead client as well as internal and external organizations through complex industry transformation analysis and implementation

- Ability to communicate effectively 

- Ability to work independently in a self managed, virtual environment

- Ability to understand underlying business issues and influence client’s thinking and decision-making

- Bachelor’s degree (or above), preference in business administration, economics or strategy planning 

- Fluent in both written and oral English and Mandarin (Putonghua)
