Responsibilities:

• legal research and turning the results into successful client communication
• drafting contracts and other legal documents
• carrying out legal due diligences
• assisting in negotiations between foreign companies and Chinese companies/authorities
• legal research

Requirements:

• high motivation to contribute as an international service provider
• excellent legal qualification, foreign degree(s) of advantage
• Chinese bar exam passed
• at least 4 to 6 years prior work experience either inhouse or in a major PRC or foreign law firm
• areas of experience: corporate law and M&A, in particular foreign direct investment and most important areas related to FDI (such as technology transfers, real estate, employment, IP, data protection, etc.) as well as related legal due diligence exercises
• good appearance and manners
• experienced in direct contacts with foreign clients is a plus
• good team worker, open to internal and external training and continuous learning
• excellent oral and written English skills equivalent to CET-6 or above
• English and Chinese typing skills
• full computer knowledge
