About the opportunity

Business controller, Financial Analyst, Commercial advisor many titles for the same task.

We at brose call this task Product Controlling, because the product is the core element of our company.

As a Product Controller you are responsible for the commercial evaluation of all products (including planning, reporting, Cost benefit Analysis, creation and follow up of cost improvements, best practice and so on) in the team you are assigned to.

From Acquisition kick off, during development phase until end of production your project team is counting on your expertise. As a product lifecycle in automotive industry generates millions of turnover and cost, we need highly reliable talents for this key function.

About you, who wants this opportunity

If you are interested in above opportunity you should have a sound knowledge of commercial issues and a good technical understanding. If you are an engineer with an interest in commercial issues or if you are specialized in business administration with an interest in technology (mechanical or electrical engineering skills) is not decisive. Most important is that you have proven knowledge in both fields, that you have an open and challenging mindset, a convincing character, the will to learn and the ability to communicate in English towards different hierarchical levels.

Specialized knowledge and skill

1. Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university, or professional qualification in engineering or industrial engineering. 3-5 years work experience

2. General commercial knowledge with regards to evaluation, business case calculations and cost benefit analysis

3. Solid analytical and problem solving skills

4. Solid ability to calculate figures

5. Solid knowledge of products and process technologies

6. Solid Excel-knowledge
