职位描述
Global Insight Projects:
? Work alongside Senior Global Insight Manager to deliver a new Customer Segmentation for China, identifying growth and protect segments and engaging the whole China business in this new framework.
? TNS Brand Trackers: work alongside Global Insight team to deliver quarterly brand trackers via the Global TNS programme; assisting with set up, fieldwork design, and ultimately delivery of insights and action planning with local team
? Store Design, Innovation, Brand: support Global Insight Managers with China based research in these areas; assisting with logistics, design and final delivery and embedding to local teams
? Costa Express (unmanned coffee machine): Works with Global Insight team and Global Express team to evaluate Costa Express launch in China, and conduct further research to support strategic expansion as required.
Local Insight Projects:
? Leads local Customer Experience evaluation programme (Net Promoter Score- NPS) – management of supplier, data process, analysis and delivery of insights and action planning to drive continuous improvement in our store customer experiences. Also feeds this back into the CMO/Insight team for Global reporting and understanding.
? Conduct ad hoc insight projects for China business locally, eg Food needs, beverage product testing, campaign evaluation.
Uses Global best practice approaches and templates where appropriate to ensure Global consistency, and shares back any relevant local learnings.
? Business Intelligence: gets close to all business data to be able to triangulate business and brand performance to guide key decisions. Eg CRM data, finance data, NPS data.
Other:
? Acts as customer champion in all key decision making forums for China – providing objective customer view to ensure decisions are grounded in Insight
? Supports Global non China based teams with building knowledge and experience in the China market and Costa business.
? Market & Consumer trends: responsible for local analysis, interpretation and business engagement with market and consumer trend reports.

? Very strong English language – both written and spoken
? Expertise and experience in conducting primary research through both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
? Skilled in developing robust holistic Insight conclusions and recommendations using multiple data sources. Ability to triangulate different data sets to reach clear conclusions about business performance.
? Ability to define a clear brief, identify options to develop holistic Insight and drive the thinking through establishing the “What” is happening, “why” is it happening and “So What” is the impact on Costa as a result of insights developed
? Skilled in presenting insights in a non-research way to build audience engagement and understanding
? Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the business and across a matrix Global structure
? Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
Desirable
? Experience in customer feedback programmes, drawing insights from customer verbatims and working with operational teams to drive action to improve customer experience
? Experience in brand tracking programmes, drawing insights and recommendations to support brand building agenda.
? Data analytical skills – essential to be comfortable with large data sets but desirable is strong data analytics skills and experience
? Experience in working in a Global matrix structure or with Global teams.
