SUMMARY
Acorn Entertainment is looking for an ambitious and enterprising Strategy & Execution Director, based in our Shanghai headquarters. You will be the growth engine and key advocator of our own brand. You will actively participate in marketing activities to engage our prospects and existing clients, form and grow trust-based client relationships, prepare right product offerings to fulfill clients’ needs, ensure smooth transition from business development to project teams, keep an open mind for innovative business development skills and approaches, and manage deliver business target.


POSITION
Acorn Entertainment – Strategy & Execution Director


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

？ Lead business analysis work on the client, with regular competitive reporting and brand tracking

？ Keeping up to date with latest category trends, competitors’ moves and bringing actionable learnings to clients

？ Support Partner by delivering quality output in a timely manner and acting as a mentor to junior employees

？ Build trust and meaningful relationships with clients, as well as relevant internal and external stakeholders

？ Demonstrate understanding and ability to use clients using data to gain actionable insights on business challenges

？ Lead the client’s annual planning, working on campaign strategy development, as well as facilitation of workshops, ideation and thought-leadership across the entire communications planning spectrum.

？ Successfully delivers communicate strategy proposals to key stakeholders

？ Clearly define content and innovation opportunities and work with content/ innovation/ digital performance teams to ensure strategic approach is followed through and delivered into successful execution.

REQUIREMENTS

？ At least 5 years’ experience in media planning and execution. Digital background is a plus

？ Strong understanding of the cultural and consumer trends that are changing the Chinese media landscape

？ You will need to have a high degree of comfort with numbers. Your recommendations will have to be rooted and supported with a deep understanding of data, be able to analyze and make meaningful recommendation and actions

？ Excellent personal/organizational management

？ Good communication skills both ideally in English and Chinese

？ Good interpersonal & social skills
