1．OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB 岗位目的

·      Under minimal supervision, performs complex assignments to develop, apply, and maintain quality requirements for processing components and other materials into finished goods and products. Review supporting manufacturing documentation to ensure it contains the necessary criteria and provisions to permit effective inspection and testing of materials.  Initiates corrective action for procedural, product, or process deficiencies.  Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective action.

Process Quality Engineer is a position in charge of overall process quality control on all shifts or shift process quality, coordinating process change and breakpoint management, monitoring process quality (FTQ, Scrap, PPM, issues, 8D, lesson learn, SPC), internal corrective and preventive action, calibration, process capability study, cost of quality, quality awareness improvement.

2．MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES 主要职责

  

·         Interpret and implement specifications for products to determine performance requirements to meet customer expectations.

  

·         Sustains the production line through implementation of established procedures.

  

·         Performs complex analytical measurements and experiments to resolve product and process issues.

  

·         Works on NCMRs(Non-conforming Material Report) and other tasks related to the disposition and corrective action of non-conforming material.

  

·         Supports Customer Quality Engineering on customer quality issues.

  

·         Coordinates meetings to formulate methodologies for root cause analysis.  Implements statistical methods to isolate problems and resolve them.

  

·         Lead Control Plan development and process development teams.

  

·         Coordinate internal and external system & process audits.

  

·         Coordinate and monitor product/process change, quality alert for production.

  

·         Implement, promote and assess effectiveness of plant-wide quality systems including training for ongoing improvements.

  

·         Develop report related to product quality and process control, and communications internally, utilizing available software applications and takes improvement actions on the results.

  

·         Lead and recommend for customer, internal and supplier corrective and preventive actions.

  

·         Coordinate the control, calibration, and usage of inspection gauges and equipments.

  

·         Perform process capability studies.

  

·         To maintain control, through SPC charting, cost of quality and quality index reporting and reaction plan.

  

·         To train and promote employees quality requirement, awareness.

Able to perform night shift duty/rotation.

3.    KEY COMPETENCIES 资格能力要求

  

·         Good English comprehension.

  

·         Bilingual in Chinese and English is desired.

Analytical problem solving.

4.    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE教育及经验要求

  

·         Educational:

  

Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronic & Mechanical or equivalent years of related experience.

  

·         Experience:  

  

Technical degree in Electrical/Electronic & Mechanical 5 or more years working experience.

  

Technical higher diploma with more than 5 years manufacturing experience.

  

Experience working in industry environment and widely involve in quality-related activities such as SPC, PFMEA, 8D, Control Plan, Process Flow, audit.

  

Experience background in Electronic Assembly in an automotive industry is an added advantage.

Knowledge of quality standards (IATF16949).
