职位描述

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounting staff and facilitating preparation of financial statements and reporting. The Accounting Manager must possess excellent accounting knowledge and approach each assignment looking for continuous improvement.  The Accounting Manager’s responsibility is to provide structure, reporting and analysis with the goal of safeguarding the Organization’s assets.

Responsibilities

·       Directs and manages the day-to-day operations of the Accounting staff. 

·       Manages and supervise timely month-end close and submission to management.

·       Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

·       Prepares and provides analyzes of monthly financial statements, & highlight to management key items to drive company’s profitability.

·       Liaises with external auditors on year-end audit and follow up action items based on findings.

·       Audits, reviews and approves account reconciliations performed by staff. 

·       Hands-on in the costing and inventory monthly activities; ie review, variance & capitalization analysis & posting, inventory adjustment, valuation and management, co-ordinate semi-annual physical inventory counts.

·       Manage and supervise the Capex & Opex activities, review departmental expenses OPS GM & departments P&Ls monthly.

·       Participate in cross-functional initiatives to streamline processes/improve the control environment within the departments.

·       Support internal audits as need be.

·       Cost-benefit analysis. Cost support on manufacturing/ factory’s daily operation. Financial reporting and internal operation process improvement.

·       Research and understanding of local tax implications.

·       Evaluates and accesses accounting policies and procedures including, where necessary, establishes, documents and executes internal control policies and procedures. 

·       Partners with IT and Operations to develop systems tools to improve financial reporting and other systems to support the organization and provide leverage as grows.

·       Being accountable for any projects or duties assigned by the Controller

  

KEY ISSUES/ PROBLEM SOLVING:

·        High reasoning ability/skills - ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

·        Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
