I. Essential Functions:

Overall responsibility for the leadership and management of projects as assigned.

Manage any type of projects that may be complex, may reside within multiple business lines or may cross multiple Catalent sites.

May take on Global, Multi site or Lead PM for clients.

May support the mentoring and training of PM’s and Project Coordinators as needed, and may train other functions in PM process and activities

May have management responsibilities for Project Coordinators.

Provides leadership in support of and may deputise as required for the site PM Department head.

May support or lead PM teams, cross site teams or functional teams in Department, Site or Global PM projects, activities and initiatives.

To promote continuous improvement in all aspects of the job: Coordination with sales, operations, client services, and QA to ensure the highest level of client service.

II. Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities:

1. Will manage projects that may reside within multiple business lines or sites as assigned.

· Act as single point of contact for the client and facilitate responses to Customer questions and observations.

· Preparation and management of a Project Plan to meet required milestones.

· Lead meetings with client and internal teams to facilitate project completion.

· Deliver the project within agreed upon timeline and budget.

· Provide notification of milestone completions for billing to finance.

· Will be primary client communication focal point for project team

2. Will be the client advocate

3. Will train PM’s and Project Coordinators within the group, as needed.

4. May have management responsibilities for a team of Project Managers (Project Coordinators) and is responsible for the work of that group; and to understand the workload of the group.

5. Will take on additional assignments for the department, group and/or site.

6. Will be able to speak to all Catalent business services and will promote Catalent at client meetings and conferences.

7. Will work with sales to win new business.

8. Will be proficient in technical aspects of PM related software used by site.

9. Will assume PM Site Lead responsibilities as needed.

III. Position Requirements:

Reports to: Site Department head

Supervises: PM ’s and PM Coordinators or may be stand alone Senior PM with no line management responsibilities.

Education or Equivalent: Bachelor Degree and/or apprenticeship, business degree or equivalent and 6+ years in a client facing/Project Management in Pharmaceutical industry or scientific environment.

Knowledge/Skills Requirements:

· Will be knowledgeable in all lines of Catalent business and business units.

· In-depth knowledge of Pharmaceutical and Biotech industries.

· Proven knowledge of Project Management.

· Excellent client facing skills – desire to meet and exceed client expectations.

· Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects which may be global and complex.

· Proven communication skills – written and verbal.

· Leadership, negotiation, presentation and facilitation skills.

· Proficiency with MS Office Programs, including MS Project.

· Will have ability to lead a large team that may involve multiple sites.

· Will have ability to train and lead a team of Project Managers that would report to them.

· Will have ability to work in a multi-national team with language requirements depending on work location. Need to be fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing).

· Good experience of working in clinical trial area in similar role will be preferred

· Working in Free Trade Zone as plus
