Asia Pacific Marketing Engineer Position Overview: 

YOU will be EVAPCO’s key point of contact for all new equipment orders in the Asia Pacific region.  You will become an expert on the EVAPCO product range and applications, be an expert on how apply the equipment in any situation, and be an expert at troubleshooting equipment challenges faced by customers.  As EVAPCO’s key point of contact for new equipment, your role will require that you host our Asia/Pacific Representatives and important customers at EVAPCO’s Asia Pacific headquarters in Shanghai.  In hosting customers, you will be responsible for ensuring customers receive a first-class experience with EVAPCO, both during their visit to the factory, and after-hours exploring Shanghai’s vibrant and unique venues and restaurants.  In some instances, you may be tasked with traveling throughout the region to visit customers and work closely with your assigned Representatives to convert sales opportunities.

What we look for:

a.       University degree in an engineering field (HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, Environmental Engineering, etc.)

b.  1-3 years related mechanical work experience, equipment sales or customer-facing experience will be preferred

c.   Excellent English (written and oral)

d.   Ability to travel domestically and internationally a must

e.   Excellent time management abilities

f.   Leadership ability and strong interpersonal skills

g.  Excellent coordination and communication talents

h.  Ability to handle many requests at once and respond in a timely manner

i.    Ability to think quickly and technically when solving problems

j.    Strong attention to detail
