Based in Shanghai / Changzhou, you will report to the Engineer Manager (based in Shanghai). At a high level, your duties will require you to provide Systems and Software expertise and support to Sensata’s customers. There will also be elements of Engineering development associated with the role. The candidate must also be willing to travel to customers in China or overseas for Software development and technical support. Your duties will include:

? Capture customer/marketing requirements, particularly those relating to Systems and Software

? Responsible for software coding, module design, simulation and debugging;

? Responsible for SW architecture design

? Collaborate with hardware/mechanical/test team to fulfill product development and test ;

? Provider the Product Engineer guidance, direction and test plan when necessary

? Troubleshoot vehicle issues and possible root causes to Engineering Team

? Participate in customer required meetings in support of new product programs

? Responsible for ensuring that all the necessary functional have been met for Engineering prototypes

? If necessary, provide onsite assistance at customer production sites

? Keep in contact on a regular basis with management of the Company

? Keep Product Engineers, Development Support Managers, Business Development Managers & Sales Managers/Engineers informed about customer reactions, needs, desires or criticism and will formulate proposals to meet these.

? Support in production manufacture

 

 

Base requirements: Candidates must possess engineering bachelor or master degree in Electronics, Computer science or relevant majors.

? 8+ years Embedded Software Development experience in industrial or automotive productions

? Be proficient in various communication protocols' development and application, such as CAN A/B, CANopen, J1939,RS232/RS485, Modbus, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, WIFI, GPS/GPRS, USB.

? Be proficient in RTOS application and development, such as Linux or VxWorks

? Be familiar with 8bit, 16bit ,32 bit MCU software application, like NXP, TI, Renasas ,

? Experienced with function development, like flash, RAM, EEPROM, FRAM, SD card, PWM, A/D, D/A, LCD, touch panel, RTC, Watchdog, boot loader, etc.

? Experienced with software development procedure

? Experience with software safety certification, such as ISO13849, IEC61508, V model or others

? Demonstrate project management and leadership capability

? The candidate needs to have English language fluency, both verbally and written.

? Be willing to travel (<25%)

Preferred Requirements

? Experience of motor driver development is a plus

? Experience of FPGA/CPLD, (VHDL, Verilog HDL) is preferred

? Experience of PC terminal software development is preferred
