Position Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Reports to: Assistant General Manager
Subordinates: NA
Location: Shanghai

Job Goals:

? To ensure that internal operations are fit for ISO requirements and meet customer expectations.
? To prepare activity and progress reports so recurring problems, either with the quality of the product or the reliability of testing procedures, can be identified and addressed.
? To lead, supervise, coach, mentor and develop Quality Assurance staff to ensure related quality standards are met.
? Effectively and timely liaise with managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure that the QA system is functioning properly. Where appropriate, the QA manager advises on changes and their implementation and provides training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality.
? To monitor and advise on how the quality management system is performing and publishes data and reports regarding company performance against set indicators.
? Protect company data.

Main Responsibilities:

? To maintain an effective, ISO9001 ,14001, OHSAS18001 compliant quality system.
? To identify immediate and long-term requirements as related to the business's Quality efforts. Manages internal assessments through the use of in-house assessments and formal ISO system audits.
? To develop and maintain effective methods of communicating Quality trends and results to the organization.
? Manages the development of all written documentation including policies and procedures, ensuring consistency with ISO 9001 requirements and customer requirements.
? Represents the Quality Systems function, facilities the Quality Review meetings. Reviews all returns and general customer complaints, as well as other quality issues
? Maintain communication links at all levels of parties both internally and externally related to quality system.
? Ensure good standards of housekeeping and safety are implemented and maintained.
? Ensure IT systems within the QA department are used for their intended purpose and not abused.

Requirements:

? Bachelor's Degree in a Business or QA discipline or equivalent
? 3+ Years experience in a company-wide quality role preferred
? Experience in chemical industry is a plus
? Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate to all levels of the company
? Proficient in data collection, analysis and presentation
? Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access and the Internet
? Good command of both oral and written English
? Proven people management skills, able to train others in existing systems and procedures
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively alone or as part of a team
? Sound judgment, decision making and problem solving skills
