JOB SUMMARY

• To be responsible for the import, export and local transportation operation for SKF internal customers and external customers

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• College degree or above, major in international trade or logistics

• More than 3 years' experience in logistics/forwarding company, knowledge on import & export operations

• Team spirit

• Motivated, can work under high pressure

• Good command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin

• Good negotiation, inter personal, performance measurement reporting, and problem solving skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily operation of import, export shipments and Customs documents;
• Prepare shipping document, including invoice, L/C, bank draft etc.
• To coordinate with service providers to ensure on-time delivery within agreed lead time
• To coordinate with SKF suppliers, SKF factories and internal customer service to ensure delivery based on customers’ requirements
• Action all requests for shipments on an emergency basis
• Transport deviation monitoring and handling
• To update and maintain transport information in system
• To define standard operation procedure (SOP) for suppliers and ensure smooth SOP implementation with suppliers - To define supplier KPI and monitor supplier performance closely to ensure continuous improvement
• Effectively communicate with internal/external customers for transport quotation
• Transport claim handling
• Reporting
