Your Mission:

As a Monitoring analyst, as part of Performances & Improvement, you will work on the system and application monitoring tools. To set proactive alerting and constant monitoring path on application together with our performance delivery manager and other support teams.

-Short term goal within 3 months

-Install, configure, maintain and improve the monitoring tools

-Set up pro-active alert for different product pages and key steps for Decathlon‘s ecommerce website and other modules/services.

-Understood familiar technical and functional monitoring KPIs: RPM, Latency, loading speed, Response time, CPU usage, RAM usage etc.

-Set up Monitoring framework and update per request

-Train and help the Production Experts on the using of the monitoring tools

Long term goal of monitoring to realize in one year:

-Setup monitor frame and content, define monitoring KPIs on difference new products and services

-Create monitoring culture, and influence developers/testers to take its own monitoring responsibility on applications

-Expand the monitor scope to all Decathlon owned containers, APIs, Modules, and infrastructure health status (platform health dashboard)

-Work with service delivery manager to have continous performance improvement plan of our digital products

-Work on the global performance of the platforms with the stress test leader

-Maintain, adapt and improve the tools and process of supervision. Lead the analysis of the duty calls

-Study and implement the solutions to avoid the wrong duty calls

Your monitoring scope will cover :

System resources: CPU, RAM, Reuqest, Network, Disk I/O;

Servers : Running status, Nodes;

Services: Web services, Images, Searchings, Caches status;

Applications: errors and exceptions, application performnces,API status;

If you are qualified with below requirements:

• Understood cloud products : services, infrastructure components，system logs

• Strong business sense AND demanding on platform availablity

• Familiar with Linux and be able to analyze system logs

• Expert of using Monitoring tools : Dynatrace, Splunk, Zabbix ( one of them,better Dynatrace or Tingyun)

• Understood key indicators for monitoring

• Strong functional management skills

• Experience with software developpment and quality would be plus

• Intersted in transform monitoring method: from application availability to purepath monitoring; micro-services monitoring;
