DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY: In this position of  Engineering Program Manager, you will act as an equal partner with the technical lead of chip, board and software development programs with primary responsibilities of driving day-to-day work products and issues to closure through coordination, clear communication, and transparent information sharing. You will be responsible for driving and organizing planning of requirements, resources, schedules and work products and tracking same through meetings, e-mail, personal interaction, and other means. Pro-actively identify risks and inhibitors to progress with the intent of mitigating them before they impact team productivity. Focus on making all participants successful by holding them accountable to reasonable and agreed upon commitments (there is no individual success without team success). Maintain status of program (including risk assessment, action items, issues, delivery milestones, etc.) in a current state and pro-actively take action on any items, as required.  任职资格: EDUCATION: BS degree minimum. MS degree preferred.  EXPERIENCE: -2 years experience as an engineering program manager -Must also have some hands on years of practical experience as an engineer -Tenacious, intrepid, and thorough about all aspects of the program. -Prepared to help in whatever capacity is necessary for the success of the program. -Proven record of managing/coordinating teams of geographically disparate engineers. -Proven ability to negotiate and secure commitments from all program participants and hold them responsible for same. -Demonstrated ability to recognize and negotiate reasonable changes in program requirements and execution tactically. -High-energy, high-bandwidth individual. -Must be comfortable with a very "hands-on," personal style of interaction with all team members without resorting to micromanagement. -Must have a "whatever-it-takes" attitude utilizing diplomatic leadership skills within a collaborative teamwork environment to accomplish the necessary results. -Must be able to secure cooperation through garnering respect and leading by example. -Semiconductor chip level design experience a huge plus  Comments: Strongly Favored:  Some process background in order to feed forward changes into future program cycles through process enhancements. Ability to successfully manage more than one full program simultaneously.
