Position: Simulation Engineer (FEA)
Company: Cooper Power Systems, Cooper China Tech Center
Location: Zhangjiang High-Tech Zone, Pudong, Shanghai

Responsibility of the Position:
Participate in product design and development as an engineering simulation role. Predict potential technical risks through digital calculation.
Deeply involved in design optimization by providing suggestions/solutions to design team.
Closely working with design and test teams, support verification & validation by virtue of engineering analysis.
Perform CAE calculation in continuum mechanics, including at least one of mechanical, electromagnetic, thermal and CFD, possibly multi-coupled fields.
Act as a strong help to product development for definition of design criteria.

Background / Education Requirements:
Masters or higher degree related to Mechanical, Electromagnetic, Heat Transfer or CFD;
Strong background in FEA of FVM simulation; More than three years working experiences, preferred in power system industry;
Rich experience in simulation software, ANSYS, Fluent, Maxwell, etc.;
Fluent communication skills in English both verbal and written;
Very good cross-function capability and team spirit.
