职位描述

Job Purpose:

Manage a small team to provide first line IT support to the employees of our Shanghai office and other Asia regional offices.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure your team members respond to and resolve technical issues in an efficient and timely manner

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that are escalated from your team members

Ensure that technical issued that are escalated to the correct team and followed up by the ServiceDesk team

Monitor and administer complex backups of company data, ensuring data integrity and restoration when required

Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records

Carry out market research on hardware and software in support of procurement and system development efforts

Monitor and test system performance and provide performance statistics and reports using existing reports and creating new ones as appropriate

Lead, coordinate and participate in key process improvements

Support the corporate IT security policies

Person Specification:

Hard Skills:

Required:
Fluent in English and Mandarin
MCSE certification
ITIL certification (or equivalent)
Proven experience in supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems
Experience of managing a small team
Educated to graduate level
Experience in scripting or a background or education involving programming
An understanding of IT support practices and processes
Desired:
A working knowledge of networking (LAN, WAN, routing and switching)
Experience of managing and supporting centralised storage systems such as NetApp, EMC, HP
Japanese/Korean language skills
Certification in IT Infrastructure Library
Previous experience of working within a semiconductor company

Strong customer service orientation
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to mentor and grow a team
Good troubleshooting ability
Ability to work well in a high pressured environment, responding to large numbers of user calls
Ability to converse well with a highly technical user base
