Job Purpose:
Manage the Shanghai GNSS Firmware team of the engineering organization and serve as a high level technical/management professional.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the execution of projects related to GNSS receiver software development and navigation algorithm research, implementation and verification.
Responsible to continuously improve the level of skills and capability of the GNSS Firmware team, by instituting appropriate process improvement and training.
Support to Business Development for key customer programs.
Person Specification:
Hard Skills
Required:
Over 5 years experience in engineering development, with at least 2 years management of engineering organizations.
Experience of at least two successful product delivery
Be recognized as an expert in some fields of GNSS receiver development, e.g. GNSS positioning algorithm and Kalman Filter theory
Solid C/C++ programming skills, with good knowledge on general algorithms and data structures
Master or higher degree in EE/CS/AA/Survey or related fields
Desired:
ARM assembler experience
Experience in precise point positioning and Inertial navigation system
Knowledge of indoor navigation solutions
Soft Skills
Required:
Must have strong interpersonal skills and certain business judgment
Desired:
A self starter, being able to work within tight deadlines, and be willing to do what it takes to get the job done
