Quality Assurance (Snr Assoc ~ AVP, Institutional Banking Group)

Job Responsibilities:

• As a member of the Quality Assurance Team (QAT) in DBS SME Banking covering Small to Medium Size Enterprises;
• Preparation of QAT commons according to the QAT Due Diligence Checklist and analyze credit proposals, reviews, memos submitted by Sales Teams. Identify risk areas and make proper recommendations;
• Analyze borrowers’ business and financials, and help Sales Teams to structure the facilities including product offering and collateral requirements, whenever necessary in accordance to all related policies;
• Identify possible fraud documents or adverse news from the internet;
• Perform Independent verification according to the Standard of Procedures;
• Handle other credit related jobs as assigned by Supervisor;
• Ensure quality of credit applications.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or above
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Credit Analysis, Accounting, Auditing, or Banking;
• Good understanding of bank financing products;
• Responsible and able to work under pressure, strong communication skills and team work spirits with other employees;
• Ability to learn independently and work without supervising.
• Good command of English and Mandarin, especially reading and writing;
• Strong negotiation skills and interpersonal skills;
• Good understanding of relevant regulations published by PBOC, SAFE and CBRC;
• Proficient in credit risk assessment;
• Familiar with bank financing products;
• Good research skills to perform own industrial analysis.
