Responsibility:
? Lead design, analysis and manufacturing of mechanical systems from concept to complete product;
? Consistently drives design reviews with internal teams to identify most feasible design; Mentor Jr level engineers and assign tasks accordingly.
? Designs, fabricates, modifies, and evaluates complex mechanical and electro-mechanical devices or systems;
? Performs developmental and/or test work which requires a comprehensive knowledge of mechanical engineering theory and design;
? Compiles and evaluates design and test data, prepares technical specifications, analyzes technical data to determine specifications;
? Analyzes, develops and recommends design approaches required to meet production requirements for new or improved products and/or processes;
? Reviews and approves related inputs such as drawings and specifications.

Requirement:

? Must be proficient in Pro Engineer Wildfire 4 or greater and data management CAD tools.
? Must have working knowledge of injection molding mold construction and metal stamping tooling.
? Must have a good fundamental understanding of RF shielding, antenna and surface mount technology concerns.
? Experience in mobile device and touch screen structure
? Experience in qualifying tooling supplier
? Good understanding of durability testing and verification of mobile device mechanics.
? Requires a BS degree in engineering and minimum 8~10+ years working experience as mechanical engineer in telecommunications industry or consumer electronics.
? Excellent English/Mandarin communication skills
? Willingness to travel as needed
