JOB OBJECTIVES:

The position is a consultancy function, responsible to ensure that the minimum required competency for assigning and assessing of Engineering & Maintenance services for major rotating equipment are matched. He is fostering and facilitating the cooperation among rotating equipment experts in the region.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Support BASF Asia Pacific sites and troubleshooting consulting and maintenance contracts for Rotating Equipment.
2.Set up and develop Center of Expertise-Rotating Equipment for the technial community Asia Pacific.
3.Fostering actively the knowledge management Rotating Equipment within BASF Technical Community.
4.Take over consulting function in area of expertise and taking over tasks within panel of experts, to implement BASF strategies.
5.Establish policies on personnel structure of the Group and involvement in personnel selection.
6.Guarantee the relevance and continuity of expertise and know-how of the Group.
7.Exchange of experience with customers and suppliers and monitoring of market developments.
8.Optimize cost/benefit, innovation and rationalization within the task responsibilities.
9.Optimize workflow (processes) continuously.
10.Monitor project implementation and decision making in difficult cases/stages of the project.
11.Actively support team building within Global Technology (GT) and early coordination of tasks and responsibilities.
12.Coordinate the project organization and alignment of all team members towards common project objectives.
13.To be open and inclusive communicate within the Global Technology (GT) organization.
14.Leading a team of up to 20 persons within the BASF organization

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor degree with major in Technology and Engineering mandatory- Master degree preferable
2.At least more than 12 years total work experiences ,At least more than 5 years work experiences in chemical and petrochemical industry ,Preferable to have more than 5 years work experiences in specific professional field 3. Open minded active, creative team-player and self-motivated.
4. Skilled in relevant software and tools.
5. Proficient spoken and written English and Chinese (mandarin) skills
