Job Summary
Manage incoming telephone calls and logging them appropriately in the Customer Relationship Management [CRM] system.
Manage the Customer Service process for inbound requests from the web, email and phones leveraging the Company's Siebel function.
Facilitate the travel logistics for both internal and external travellers of MathWorks China's office.
Manage the inventory and ordering of office supplies and kitchen requirements
Support the distribution of both incoming and outgoing postal and email enquiries.
Assist in preparing meeting rooms for functions
Support administrative and scheduling duties for MathWorks China's training function.
Support the finance and operations team from time to time in varied tasks such as filing, collections, etc. and ad hoc projects.
Responsibilities
Qualifications Required / Preferred 3+ years of relevant experience
experience with telephone switching and routing software (Nortel, Siemens, etc)
Prior experience or knowledge with customer service functions desirable. Use of CRM tools a plus. (Siebel, Salesforce.com, Vantive, etc)
Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Chinese(Mandarin) and English.
Experience with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, One-note, etc.
Professional phone manner
Experience with scheduling, organizing and basic financial knowledge (invoicing, reconciling, etc)
A willingness to work extended hours at times to coordinate visits and off-hour business items and international contacts (APAC, USA, Europe)
Understanding of event and seminar venue planning would be a plus
University degree required. Commerce, Economics, or Business focus a plus.
