This role is responsible for driving, maintaining and growing advertising and sponsorship revenue within China for The Wall Street Journal franchise and all Dow Jones media properties.
Job Description:
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
· Identity the opportunities and strategy for advertising and sponsorship revenue for The Wall Street Journal franchise and all Dow Jones media properties, and execute the strategy, i.e. structure sales force and priority cities for growth with different market approaches.
· Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential clients and meet and maintain high visibility with others in the industry in order to maintain a leading edge.
· Take the lead in promotion Dow Jones on-line and print products in China.
· Work closely with Advertising Operations, Yield, IT, Product and Editorial teams to build commercial opportunities and ensure team can execute sales plans effectively.
· Source and convert leads, monitor the advertising on competitive sites.
Job Requirement:
· Degree holder with 10+ years of relevant experience in multi-media sales.
· Good understanding of multi-media sales in China.
· Have strategic vision, able to leverage resources, products and industry trends and identify opportunities
· Eager to accelerate the market adoption and to identify new business opportunities to drive the business into the next phase of growth, collaborate with different business units in providing integrated solutions encompassing online, mobile, tablets, print and events to advertisers across the region
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to deliver professional and clear information to clients
· Excellent command of English language, both spoken and written along with demonstrable negotiating skills is a pre-requisite
· The ability to operate effectively and efficiently in a challenging and fast-paced environment
