Job Assignment:

- Handle samples and perform testing according to operational procedures and test instructions;
- Maintain records and all evidences of testing and quality activities;

- Coordinate the setup, debug and maintenance of test equipment;
- Operate and monitor the performance of test equipment;

- Implement corrective and preventative actions towards nonconformance;

Job Requirement:

- College degree or above with engineering course. Textile Technology, Textile Chemistry or Physics background is preferred;

- More than 1 years laboratory testing experience on fire test is preferred, familiar with fire regulations and standards both for European and USA market especially for furniture and furnishing products. (BS 5852, EN 1021, EN 597, 16 CFR 1630, TB 117 etc);
- Good command in English, both in reading and writing;

- Strong PC-skills, including MS Office;

- Hard working, self-motivated, independent and initiative;

- Good communication skills.

IKEA Test Lab & Training Centre (ITTC) is located in Fengxian district of Shanghai, one hour away from IKEA Shanghai Xu Hui store. Combined with a training centre for IKEA suppliers as well as our own co-workers, ITTC is the first IKEA owned test lab outside Sweden.
