Job Title: Production Supervisor
Regional: Shanghai Plant

Safety – HS&E & Statutory relations
? Responsible & Accountable for Health, Safety and Environment performance of the people on your shift
? Deliver world class best HSE performance and practices for your shift and contribute to the world class performance of the Valspar Site
? Enforce Valspar safety procedures and policies with all employees
? Set an example for safe behavior
? Make good decisions that ensure safe production
? Report all Near Misses and incidents immediately and investigate causes and develop solutions with other to permanently improve safety performance
? Write and update work procedures as directed.
? Directly audit work area and worker performance to written procedures and standards
? Implement annual HSE Improvement Plan and ensure improvement objectives are achieved.
? Fully comply with and enforce for all your people Life Critical Permit Programs (Lock-out Tag-out Try, Hot Work, Confined Space, Line Break, Work on Electrical Equipment, Working at Heights, and Digging).
? Participate in Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-startup Safety Reviews (PSSR). Implement corrective actions.
? Ensure Shanghai follows all Statutory and Regulatory requirements.
Quality
? Enforce ISO work instructions, batch tickets to ensure proper quality
? Audit quality on the floor
? Increase Material Efficiency (reduce write-downs, reduce yield loss, and reduce shrink loss)
? Reduce cost-of-poor-quality (COPQ)
? Improve plant first run capability (FRC).
? Determine solutions to quality issues produced by the factory.
Service
? Deliver production On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) to meet Customer needs.
? Cross-train and move employees to the bottleneck to meet variable Customer demand.
Cost
? Develop and achieve budgeted costs to meet business objectives.
? Enforce Work-in-Process inventory cap (WIPCAP)
? Improve and simplify processes to meet productivity objectives
? Cross-train and move employees to the bottleneck to achieve productivity objectives
? Ensure the facility, plant and equipment are maintained to high 6S housekeeping standards for business continuity and reduce business risk.
? Measure operator and department productivity
