Position Overview:

Customs operation specialist will provide with professional and quality support to RMB import process, assisting to build up and maintain the relevant database, working as an interface between service providers and Digi-Key Shanghai on daily basis, as well as internal relevant departments, completing projects/tasks/assignments based on business needs and company arrangement. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily import operation.
• Assist to establish and maintain the relevant database relating to import, which contains necessary import elements such as (but not limit to) China HS Code, China Customs Supervision Condition, Tariff, etc.
• Classify HS code and review import conditions for new added products on daily basis.
• Work as a key contact point to support on import documents.
• Closely work with service providers to follow up each shipment, checking import/delivery status and responsible for the updating in system timely and correctly.
• Monitor the performance of the China service providers and make improvement suggestion as needed
• Provide updates in terms of changes relating to China Customs regulations and policies if any
• Complete projects assigned by manager as needed

• 负责日常进口操作，制作进口单证，跟进货物进口流程，完成相关系统操作
• 建立和维护产品进口数据库，审核产品归类，海关编码，监管条件等
• 对合作的供应商进行管理和流程改进
• 负责公司范围内进口相关流程的培训
• 经理布置的其他相关任务

Requirements/Skills:

• Good knowledge of China import process, China Customs regulations and policies
• Familiar with China Customs HS Coding and Supervision Conditions
• Handy experience of working with Customs brokerage service companies
• 3+ year working experience in import
• Experience about electronics component industry is preferred
• Basic knowledge about ERP system is a plus
• Sense of responsibility, commitment and teamwork
• Good business English writing skills
• Bachelor’s degree

• 熟悉海关、商检相关法律法规，扎实的进口环节操作经验
• 熟练掌握HS code归类
• 3年及以上相关经验
• 有电子元器件行业相关经验者优先
• 有ERP经验者优先
• 工作细致认真，责任心强，学习能力强，具有抗压能力，团队合作精神和沟通能力
• 良好的书面英语写作
