ADMISSIONS ASSISTANT/OFFICER

You will act as a first point of contact for Admissions from enquiry through to enrolment, to ensure continuing high levels of on-going attraction, and recruitment of students. Responsibilities include campus recruitment, visit management, enrolment, recording of accurate information, and liaison with key members of staff.

Educated to degree level, you will possess excellent communication and presentation skills and have at least 5 years’ previous experience in sales, customer care, public relations, or a related field. Experience within an educational institution would be advantageous. You will be an outstanding role model for the school and skilled at liaising with parents and students new to Shanghai from all cultures. The role will also involve building relationships with relocation, HR and corporate contacts to generate positive word of mouth comments and influence.

The Admissions Assistant/officer must thrive within a premium sales environment. The role requires excellent customer service skills, and strong interpersonal skills. Applicants should be well-organised, and demonstrate the ability to work effectively both as part of a team or independently.

Qualifications/Training :

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Marketing, Public Relations, or Sales related field.

- Previous UK study or living experience will be a plus

Experience / Knowledge:

- 2-3 years’ work experience in Sales (Admissions), Marketing, and Customer Service related field.

- Experience of having worked within a service delivery sector and experience of event management (in the service sector or education field a bonus)

- Fluency in Chinese and English

- Experience of working with Management Information Systems and integration with the sales life cycle

- Knowledge of MS-Office tools
