Key Responsibilities:

Learning the teaching programme of Mathematics, actively participating in teaching activities; providing support in class; assisting the mathematics teachers in recording the students’ learning progress; assisting the mathematics teachers in preparing lesson plans and teaching materials; building a good relationship with the students.

Managing the department office, in particular making sure that the office is tidy and well presented for visitors. Responsible for ensuring that all relevant paperwork is organized and filed.

Assisting the Head of mathematics in procurement.

Managing non-essential parental communication on behalf of the Head of mathematics.

Providing support in field trips and assisting teachers in school events.

Organising stock and materials.

Translating articles about mathematics department events.

Taking over mathematics class when teachers are absent.

Learning the teaching programme of mathematics, especially the content of IGCSE and IB; Fully understanding the requirement of student experiment; actively participating in teaching activities and aware of the experiment plan made by teachers.

Attending meetings as requested by the Head of mathematics and the Heads of school.

Other assigned work as requested by the Head of mathematics.

BASIC QUALIFICATION 

Education: Bachelor’s degree.

Major:  Mathematics related subject.

Language: Native Chinese speaker and fluent in English, minimum CET-6.

Teaching qualification Certificate for Primary or Junior High

Support Huili values.

EXPERTISE

Outstanding communication in English and Chinese.

Strong learning ability.

Familiar with Office software.

International and bilingual school working experience is preferred.

Cross-cultural working experience is preferred.
