This position is mainly responsible for

  

• IQC management and supplier quality management.

• Quality management of customer projects and other internal company projects.

• Maintenance of ISO 9000 system and continuous improvement.

• Promotion of quality awareness all the time.

  REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  Related work experience

• More than 3 years of work experience in quality management in mechanical manufacturing industry.

• Having more than 1 years work experience with metal material standards related (both for local e.g. GB and international e.g. ASTM, JIS, etc.).

  Formal education or equivalent

                      

• Bachelor degree or above in mechanical design/manufacturing or metal material science is required.

  Basic skills

• Fluent in written English.

• Familiar with mechanical engineering drawing.

• Good communication skill.

  MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

                  

1. IQC management

  

• Be in charge of IQC, make sure the all material used for production is comply with relevant standards and customer requirements.

• IQC system maintenance, and make effort in efficiency/reliability improvement.

• IQC documents/records maintenance.

• Supporting on supplier quality management.

          

1. Quality management of customer project

  

• In handover meeting, make sure quality requirements for the project found out and feasible.

• List all project requirements for QC execution and define the key points and the way how to carry out the requirements.

• Understand progress of project fabrication. Work out troubleshooting to tough issues or NC found in daily inspection and give QC inspector guidance in expertise.

• Answer and clarify all questions from QC inspector regarding project requirement, standard, spec, drawing and so on.

          

1. Quality documentation

  

• Prepare Inspection and Test Plan for project and ensure it carried out in order.

• Check inspection records and approve inspection and test reports.

• Compile MDB. Ensure all documents kept in project file and then hand in the file.

        

1. Quality failure investigation and corrective action

  

• Organize associated departments to investigate quality failure and come up with a solution.

• Spread basic principle of ISO 9000 among functions or departments when working together with them. Guide related departments to deal with quality problems from perspective of ISO 9000.
