One of the largest Spain retailers is looking for a who is well experienced to join the Shanghai regional office. As, Merchandiser/ Senior Merchandiser, Indoor and Kitchen furniture, you will be responsible for the following:
Research markets to source and develop new products.
Work closely with QA, ensure developments and orders are managed through to completion, achieving the agreed

quality levels, delivered on-time.
Monitor, measure and develop the capabilities of the vendor base by developing and implementing vendor -specific strategies.
Benchmark market trends in Asia and Europe and attend key trade fairs to maximize awareness of souring

requirements.

To excel in this role, you will need to have the following requirements:
Degree or Diploma holder, Min. 5 years merchandising experience in sizable international trading or buying office
Good understanding of European market requirements and trends, experience in working directly with China

factories
Good computer skills
Regular business travel is required
Proven skills in business negotiation, communication, production management and import & export are a must
Fluent English is a must
