• Researches and analyzes industry and competitive conditions, customer needs, and supplier needs. Designs the marketing strategies to capitalize on business opportunities.
• Drives the process with multiple departments and suppliers to plan and launch their products and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
• Must be comfortable in various settings, from analyzing data, to interacting confidently with senior management in discussing strategy, market and competitive conditions.
• Launches supplier initiatives and therefore provides product solutions/unique advantages to suppliers and customers so that Mouser is considered the preferred partner for suppliers and the preferred provider of products for customers
• Leads the planning and strategy for all direct marketing communications using a multitude of mediums to communicate to customers, both internal and external, and suppliers that drive demand form products.
• Builds and implements test strategies for supplier marketing activities, and analyze to better understand customer behavior and maximize results.
• Strives to align market intelligence efforts with the Mouser’s core purpose strategy, which will result in targeted return on investment objectives.
• Discovers new product marketing opportunities that support new designs and advanced technologies through strategy meetings with Suppliers.
• Supports and participates in company total quality process.
• Available & willing to travel regional & internationally as needed. Valid passport and other required travel documents, or eligible to obtain required documents for travel.
• Works closely with the Supplier Management Team in Mouser Corporate to develop deeper relationships both at supplier management and product management, identifying new opportunities and both creating and maintaining product road maps. Provides the strong product and management support from region to corporate to maximize all potential growth opportunities globally.
• Works effectively while being responsible to various departments/management staff.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Degree from 4-year college or University in Electronics, Marketing, or Business Administration, and 3-5 years relevant work experience, or an approved combination of education and experience. Experience in marketing, internet business and electronic distribution industry in assigned region, preferably with a multi-national organization.
