Purpose of the Job

Sales of engineering, components, systems and services of polymer product lines, such as static mixer, heat exchangers, devolatilization system, and plastic foam extrusion plants.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Sales and design responsibility for product line related to polymer.

• Explore the market for new business and subsequent acquisition of new customers, development of projects together with the customer

• Customer presentations about polymer products and specific applications in collaboration with front sales.

• Develop technical solutions and concepts for our customers, in cooperation with process and mechanical engineers

• Prepare techno-commercial proposals including cost calculation, pricing strategy, risk assessment, execution scheme, cash flow analysis

• Present and negotiate commercial and technical proposals with our customers

• Achieve order intake whilst following 10 golden rules and Sulzer’s ethical standards

• Follow market trends, customers and competitors and propose actions to address and utilize market needs

• Proper handover of secured projects to project management

• Represent the polymer business at fairs, hold presentations at conferences
