• Contribute new ideas, pinpoint new product trends, color, fabrics, trims and textile technologies for the development of creative products and collection plans ·
• Handle the whole design and product development process ·
• Provide product design and design tech packs, with technical drawings, instruction on sizing, fitting, and workmanship
• Accountable for the process of material sourcing and development of new qualities
• Work closely with different parties to understand and develop tech packs that achieve the desired styling and fit of each product
• Coordinate with the Fabric, Merchandising, and QA team to ensure product information is accurate and correct up to the production stage
• Liaise with suppliers and sample room on sample development, mock-ups, and swatches
• Support in presenting new seasons‘ collection and build a productive relationship with buyers
• Develop the digital fabric/materials/samples’ libraries
• Train, motivate and develop junior developer
• Occasional travel will be required

• Diploma or Degree holder in Fashion Design, Textile, Clothing, Patterning, or related discipline
• Very fashion forward, proven experience in the product development within the fashion/garment industry
• Sound fashion sense with the ability to envision and interpret future market trends for customers
• Strong patterning, sewing knowledge and related experience in woven/knit ladies fashion items would be an advantage Familiar in using illustrator and CADs for creating tech packs
• Good understanding of apparel graphics, beading, and embroideries in ladies’ wear
• Well-organised, self-motivated, dynamic, result-oriented problem solver and able to work under pressure · Demonstrated learning agility
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English
