The ideal candidate will have at least 2-year experience in sourcing or International Trade. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about his/her work; result oriented, possesses strong leadership potential, and understands the Asian Sourcing Market and culture. The role will include many Asian countries including Vietnam, India, Pakistan, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and China, etc.

Principle Responsibilities:

- Responsible for sourcing consumer/PPE safety products as required

- Research Product and factory

- Strong capability for new vendor development

- Solicit bids and cost negotiation with suppliers

- Product comparison and COG management

- Bid review under the direction of sourcing management

- Vendor relationship management and vendor compliance

- Develop product quality specification in conjunction with QA/QC department

- Understand importance of product quality standard compliance to of destination country

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years experience in a sourcing or trading role, preferably with consumer and PPE safety products, etc.

- Import/export work experience

- Strong material knowledge and a DETAIL orientated attitude to understand and apply standards compliance

- Proven cost negotiation skills

- Good level of English language/ speaking / writing required, better with certain Mandarin skill as well

- Strong interpersonal organization and communication skills with suppliers and customers

- Minimum of 3-year college degree

- Able to travel frequently

- Computer literate (Proficient in Excel and Word, etc.)
