Job Description

The objective of the position is to support the business acquisition of ETAS’ software Engineering solutions including presentations at the customer, system set-up，customizing engineering and after-sales support. The involved products are prototyping and software design tools for automotive ECUs (Electronic Control Unit).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

● Pre-sales: Lead/clarify customer requirements and prepare technical proposals based on ETAS products and services.

● After-sales technical support and technical project management.

● Work as regional product manager takes responsibility of SE products for promotion, engineering service, training, trouble shooting and so on.

● Engineering service based on customer’s request.

● Provide product and know-how training including on-site support to customer.

● Keep good relationship with existing and new customers, maintain and update customer profile in the responsible region.

● Keep continuous investigation on technical trends, customer new application and competitive landscape and report to management in a timely manner.

● Support and execute marketing plan and product promotion.

Qualifications

● University degree in a technical field related to embedded software, SW engineering, computer science or telecommunication.

● Understanding of the SW development process for control units in automotive.

● Strong experience in BSW development based on AUTOSAR such as OS, MCAL, driver…

● Familiar with function and SW development using ASCET or Matlab/Simulink.

● Virtual ECU development experience is strongly preferred.

● Excellent communication and analytical skills, able to give convincing presentations and maintain the relationship with customers.

● Able to work independently, employ customer-oriented strategic thinking to develop strategies how to approach the customer.

● Willingness to travel frequently within China.

● Native in Chinese (mandarin), fluent in English.
