General Job Description:

Responsible for support of all non-production procurement processes, systems and tools within a defined region. Provides training and ongoing user support for non-production purchasing and expense management tools within the region--seen as an expert and responsible for first line support to all Husky users in their region and back-up support for key users for the rest of the world. Liaises with internal and external stakeholders to ensure processes, systems and tools are working well.

Key Responsibilities/Areas of Accountability:

· Proactively manages local user access to, and privileges within, Expense Management System (EMS).

· Leads training sessions for both administrators and users within the region for EMS, Travel Authorization (TA) and other non-production procurement systems.

· Manages IT Helpdesk support requests for EMS and TA systems, ensures quick resolution to issues and provides backup support for other regions. Analyses trends in support requests and takes necessary preventive action.

· Provides regional support for the implementation and integration of global non-production purchasing systems and tools (such as credit card programs, e-Procurement tools, travel management tools and expense management/reporting systems).

· Continuously improves global standards for the use of procurement tools, business systems and accounting practices and ensures that these standards are adhered to in all regions.

· Manages communication to regional user communities for information pertinent to their roles.

· Executes high-level spend analyses to identify trends and patterns for the purpose of communicating arenas of non-production cost savings to functional teams within Husky.

· Leads and/or supports non-production spend reduction initiatives.

Leads and/or supports non-production sourcing or supplier negotiations and ensures that comprehensive supplier agreements are expertly prepared, executed and filed.

· Has well-developed PC skills; data manipulation as well as Web navigation to gather market data.

· Has strong project management, organizational and time management skills.

· Has excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.

· Able to easily build positive working relationships with other teams.

· Understands the importance of obtaining stakeholder acceptance of proposals.

Bachelor's degree preferred

- Related Experience:

· Knowledge of E-Procurement and E-Sourcing

Experience with procurement / supplier relationship management
