Job Description:

Husky's Communications team is responsible for developing the company's brand and delivering targeted, aligned messaging both internally and externally. As Asia Pacific External Communications Specialist, you must have the ability to communicate information clearly and effectively and will be doing so through a variety of channels that focus on Husky's external relationships. You will work closely with both the Asia Pacific Communications team and a global team to:

- Develop communications materials for external audiences, including the media and customers, on a wide range of topics including business strategy, internal change initiatives, customer success stories, and new and existing products

- Support external communications and public relations initiatives including website development, media relations and monitoring, industry and competitor research

- Support tradeshow, open house and customer event execution

- Support local printing of communication materials and photography requirements

- Establish and build strong relationships with members of the media throughout Asia-Pacific

- Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather information, communicate initiatives and relay ideas

- Provide translation and translation proofreading support


Experience and capabilities:

- University degree in communications, public relations, marketing or English

- Minimum of three years of marketing communications experience, preferably at a global company

- A solid understanding of best practices in external communications

- Must be able to manage multiple projects and priorities

- Outstanding verbal and written English skills. Applicants will be required to submit writing samples
