Duties, Responsibilities & Authorities: As an electrical engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for: · Develop product concept with pros/cons analysis · Demonstrate design with MASC (modeling/analysis/simulation/calculation) · Design of elevator components (controllers, modules, etc) · Develop and execute the test plan · Verify/qualify the design · Documentation of engineering works according to Otis product development process (e.g.: requirement, drawings, test reports, user’s manuals etc) · Coordinate with other function to ensure program success · Perform other duties as assigned and requested Accountability & measures: · Correct and efficient performance of the tasks with sense of ownership · Complete the job on target with respect to quality, time, and cost · Support others to achieve departmental objectives · Self-motivated for continuous improvement of product and personal skills to adapt external environment change. Work experience & skills requirements: · Experience: o Minimum 3 years of design experience with Master’s degree or 5 years with Bachelor’s degree preferred. o Working experience in global company preferred · Language: o CET-6 and above. Good in written and oral English · Computer Skills: o E3 tool for wiring diagram o Microsoft office tool set · Other Key Competencies: o Sense of ownership and responsibility, result oriented o Creative, open-minded, smart and energetic o Good interpersonal and communication skills o Logical thinking and pro-active · Other Preferred Experiences: o Electrical circuit design, Component selection, qualification, EMI/EMC related working experience. o General knowledge on Elevator industry o Experiences in VF Application o Familiar with the Safety Certification by TUV o Experience with Labview or MiniTab Educational Requirements · Education: Bachelor or above in Automation or Electrical Engineering
