Position Title: STORE MANAGER


Main Responsibilities


Team Management
· All store staffs report to store manager, directly or indirectly
· Provide overall orientation to the team and maintain staffs morale.
· Evaluate and develop staffs’ competencies in their specific domain by training, coaching and performance review.
· Manage the shifts to cope with the peak and low hours of the day and to optimize the utilization of our resources
· Initiate and supervise in-store communication tools to ensure that the whole team works in a harmonious and efficient way.


Sales and Customer Service
· Lead the team by example and achieve our sales and service targets directly and through the team. Ensure that each and every customer (existing and potential) is served in the best possible manner and to conclude every transaction efficiently and effectively.
· Evaluate and develop sales staffs’ competencies in terms of customer relation, product knowledge, mix-and-match skills, and sense of promotion focus.
· Maintain, develop, protect and utilize customer data base to maximize our business achievement
· Proactively manage and deal with customer interactions and complaints. Manage all issues related to After Sales Service and Customer Queries. Provide solutions to each customer in keeping with the company guidelines.
· Create a service and detail oriented culture and continuous learning atmosphere through daily briefing and product presentation exercise.
· Execute and contribute to promotional events in store.
· Participate directly or contribute to product buying activities so as to better satisfy customer needs and secure a healthy sell-through rate.

Operational Accountabilities and Key Tasks
· Stock Management
a. Establish and maintain an efficient merchandise storage system in both warehouses and selling areas under company’s guidelines.
b. Ensure stock security by applying correct shipment receipt procedure and regular stock take and random check on daily and monthly basis.
c. Guide and supervise staffs to properly handle START system, stock transfer and end-of-season procedure so as to minimize discrepancy between book and physical record.
d. Forecast and control the usage of all kinds of store supplies; place order on a regular basis.
· Cash Management
a. Ensure that daily cashier job is carried over by trained and competent staffs.
b. Supervise on a daily basis about discount amount. Make sure the START system record of cash and credit card revenue is in line with bank record.
c. Manage store petty cash.
d. Guide and supervise staffs to execute product exchange and return procedure by abiding to company’s policy.
· Tailor Management
a. Ensure and evaluate the quality of alteration service delivered to customers
b. Communicate with, support and guide tailors to achieve high level of productivity.


Reporting
· Store manager should prepare and submit reports required by company within deadlines
· Participate in and prepare for relative meetings held by company.
