The Logistics Services & Operations manager is accountable and responsible to purchase transportation services in China and coordinate compound activities to guarantee excellent service level towards the customers.

The responsibilities and accountabilities are the following:
· Scope: China Compounds (Shanghai - Harbin - Urumqi - Guangdong). Transport from compound to customers for units manufactured in China and transport from Port to customers for imported units.
· Compound activities: Implement CNH compound process in China to guarantee stock maintenance and control.
· Transportation Contracting: RFQ management (service level definition, carrier selection, rate and contract negotiation). Creation and maintenance of Tariff Book; monitor, analyze and control overall distribution service level and costs for the area of responsibility, KPIs management.
· Shipment/transport management: Follow up and tracing activities to achieve the best results for CNH in terms of customer satisfaction, sales recognition and cost control. Ensure vehicle capacity with every carrier to complete shipments, report the shipping activity results; interfacing with SSA/Commercial department in the transportation quotation process in order to achieve commercial/finance objectives.
· Set-up corrective actions with the different interlocutors in the markets and the local contact of the carriers.
· Invoice control and approval: Final approval of the carrier's invoices and Debit/Credit Notes instructions to the CNH Financially Accountable Entity in case of discrepancies. Evaluate and resolve anomalies in the applied rates according to tariff book and spot rate agreements
· Team Management: Create and lead performing Logistics services & Operations team in China to achieve operations excellence with a competitive service.
Job Requirements and qualifications:
· Relevant experience in logistics, preferably with high and heavy business (mini 5 years)
· Team management multisite ( 3 years minimum)
· Experience with foreign multinational.
· Fluent in English (another language - Italian would be appreciated)
· Analytical, precise and pursuing objectives with method and autonomously
· Motivated team player with good communication skills.
· Experienced in systems (data bases) and all MS office tools
· Pro-active performance and with passion for excellence and service commitment
· Flexible and able to work under pressure and make long hours
· Willing to travel occasionally
· Education with university degree (Logistics, engineering or economics background)
