The Position
ATS China is currently seeking a suitable candidate to deliver and support Industrial IT projects to leading manufacturers in China, with a specific focus on our Visual Defect Data Collection Application (ATS Inspect*). In this role you will receive functional design specifications for client and server systems which will deployed throughout manufacturing facilities in China. You will be required to deliver hardware & software as well as supporting documentation governed by internal quality gates through a defined project lifecycle. On completion of the project you will then support all system components going forward to ensure business uptime is maintained in line with production requirements, under a service level agreement. This position is key to our new Centre of Competence in China.

* Application training will be provided as part of this role

The Person
The right candidate has up to 2 years experience in a similar role. A knowledge of Manufacturing Processes & Automation would also be advantageous in this role. An ability to self-manage the delivery of IT projects as per the Functional Design Specification is critical to this position. The candidate should be an excellent communicator and be able to present ideas clearly and effectively both internally and externally. Candidates should be motivated and capable of the development and application of skills in new and existing technologies. Enthusiasm and a desire for success are character traits we are seeking as is the ability to lead and be part of implementation teams as required by the project. A willingness to travel is essential in this position.

Technical Key Skills Required Include
? SQL Server 2008 R2 knowledge
? Windows Server 2008 knowledge
? Microsoft SQL Reporting Services knowledge
? Microsoft OS (all versions)
? Understanding of Network topologies
? IT delivery & commissioning experience
? Server configuration knowledge (RAID, Cluster, etc.)

? Ability to convert requirements into a functional design specification.
? Clear communicator
? Foundation Project Management qualification preferred.
? Competent in producing technical documentation.
