Edscha Automotive Technology is R&D location and headquarters of Asian operations for Edscha Group.

The Project Management Office located in Kunshan is responsible to support the Project Managers in all Asian entities in the execution of Project Management excellence and to ensure compliance with corporate standards, methods and tools. For this challenging task we are searching for.

Project Manager – Project Management Office China

Job Task

1. Drive forward the standardization of project-related guidelines including the creation of organizational instructions and process charts.

2. Project reporting in alignment with Edscha China / Asia subsidiaries including Joint Ventures.

3. Training and coaching of local Project Managers in corporate project system, project execution and processes.

4. Enable the sharing of methodologies, tools and techniques according to headquarter standards.

5. Supporting Edscha entities incl. JV’s with Project Management in case of business need for awarded programs.

6. Supporting Sales Team with Project Management in acquisition phase based on business needs.

7. Support the implementation and acting as Key User in Edscha Project Management software (EdPro) and interface systems (e.g. SAP R/3, Office Automation Software).

8. Monitoring projects (milestone deviations, project billing, project planning, team building).

9. Participating and managing strategic projects with focus on IT systems and organizational development.

10. Organization and preparation of regularly project health check meetings and project reviews.

11. Preparation of presentations and decision templates.

12. Supporting the Head of department in execution of managerial tasks (multi project management, requirements management, reporting).

Required qualification

1. Bachelor degree or higher in Business, Computer Science, Operations or Organizational Behavior.

2. MBA would be recognized as a further asset

3. Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position in Automotive industry in Project Manager position, preferable in automotive T1 supplier company.

4. Strong communication skills across all organization levels, including excellent interpersonal skills.

5. Strong organizational skills

6. An ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints

7. Presentation skills

8. Execution focus

9. Proficient in Microsoft office software and SAP R/3 system are a strong plus.

10. Chinese native speaker, proficient in English language, German is a plus.

11. PMP, PMI certification a plus.

12. 10-20% readiness to travel.
