· To lead a cross – functional team consisting of a Pre – Production Engineer, Quality Engineer, Logistics Coordinator, and Supplier Quality Engineer through Phases 2 – 6 of the KA NPI Process, towards key milestones, ensuring that all Pre – Production activities are achieved on time/ in full.

· To participate when the Team is nominated in Phase 2 and together with the Platform Manager, and team described above define the budget and establish the overall objectives of the project.

· To manage and be fully accountable for the local budget, timeline and contribution levels of the project and to ensure that the relevant activities are carried out to maintain these 3 key criteria at their target levels.

· To initiate, appoint and lead internal Launch Meetings.

To communicate regularly with the Platform Manager and the Project Team ensuring that all Pre - Production issues related to the plant are known by the Platform Manager.

· Degree or equivalent qualification in an Engineering related subject.

· Good background in Quality Assurance/ Process Engineering and/ or Design with at least 3 years experience in an Automotive role.

· To speak and write English where English is not the first language of the local plant.

· Ability to make good decisions based on experience and analysis, and advice from colleagues.

· Presentation Skills

· Leadership skills.
