A top 100 ASX listed company; with 67 stores Australia wide is looking for an Assistant Merchandiser of Womenswear to join the Shanghai Global Sourcing Office Team. Myer strategic growth plans for the next five years has a significant store expansion program and growth in our exclusive brand offer. To support this strategic direction Global Sourcing Offices are being established in Hong Kong and Shanghai.


As an Assistant Merchandiser of Womenswear you will be an integral part of the Global Sourcing Officer reporting to the Senior Merchandiser / Merchandise Manager in the Shanghai Office. Your key responsibilities will be to monitor orders, on-time delivery, sample review and coordination between factories and buyers. You will collate, administer and distribute reports to key stakeholders.



Key job tasks/duties/responsibilities:

cookware & kitchenware& hardgoods working experience;
·Track orders and follow up as required
·Escalate any order issues
·Collate, coordinate and distribute reports to the appropriate key stakeholders
·Assist in generation of key data for management reporting
·Work closely with Merchandise Manager/Merchandiser


To be successful in this role you will need:
·Experience working with manufacturers, suppliers, or distributors is an advantage, but not essential
·Excellent written and oral communication skills
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office
·A high level of attention to detail
·A confident and proactive work ethic
·Strong organisational skills
·Able to prioritise workloads
·Tertiary qualification, degree in the related discipline preferred but not essential
·English, Cantonese and Mandarin
