Webmaster

The Webmaster implements web pages, maintains content and oversees day-to-day management of the company website, and assures quality and filing integrity of web pages.

Duties and Responsibilities

？ Assist the technical team (PM, developers, etc) and the users for the design of company web pages, including graphics, animation and functionality.

？ To develop web page infrastructure and application related to pages with more advanced graphics and features.

？ To monitor web server and site technical performance.

？ Ensure e-business running smooth

？ Implementing search engine optimization strategies.

？ Continuously implementing new technical features to optimize the website and its access

？ Work closely with the Operation team to cope with that team strategy

？ Promoting client websites online to increase prominence within their web community where possible.

？ Management of Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns to achieve optimum ROI (Return On Investment) for individual active search terms for each of the major search engines

？ Work closely with the Users to set and ensure marketing campaigns achieve budgeted commercial targets

？ Circulate efficient and accurate reporting, detailing results of each web marketing campaign and possible improvement

？ Advise Director on the improvement, results, competition and new direction in technology to assist with marketing of the brand.

？ Maximize online affiliate opportunities and revenue generation for the brand (with possibility of widening affiliate advertising schemes)

？ Ensure regular communication and email contact with affiliates and act as main point of contact

？ Source and manage new revenue generating online marketing opportunities

？ Ensure the good interface between the web system and the company ERP

？ Ensure data consistency between the ERP and the web systems

？ Define a disaster recovery procedure for e-business and make sure that it is applied

Skills / Attributes Required

？ Proven Website Management experience.

？ Strong web design skills which will include the ability to edit HTML and JavaScript skills.

？ A thorough knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques.

？ Knowledge of browser compatibility issues for all platforms/major browsers is necessary

？ Microsoft server-side VBScript and ASP development experience is necessary.

？ DHTML, COM and client-side JavaScript programming experience

？ Experience of running and evaluating online marketing campaigns, which will include the management of Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns.

？ A flexible attitude with proven experience of working in a small team.

？ Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
