Job
Purpose:

？ Execute the Supplier Quality & Development
Roadmap with the Group and BU stakeholders, support and execute actions plans
in compliance with the Roadmap, improving functional performance improvements,
supplier quality performance and developing suppliers to expected level. Use smart
processes to deliver both quality and agility expectations.

？ Support Supplier Panel development in line with
Commodity Strategies

？ Conduct governance of regional AP SQD team

？ Manager regional APQP and PPAP to support project
progress and lead quality issue solving in a timely manner.

Key Accountabilities:

？
Support to
define a roadmap to improve functional performance and overall supplier
performance regionally.

？
Execute
necessary supplier development program/projects in line with the Roadmap

？
Lead regional
supplier quality development team

？
Maintain
supplier quality development process/structure, tools and materials; most
importantly Supplier Performance Development Process (SPDP) and Advanced
Product Quality Planning (APQP)

？
Ensure
metric achievement and communicate improvements and action plans as needed

？
Assess
financial impact to Aftermarket through poor supplier quality performance and
develop plans to improve and recover non-quality cost.

？
Conduct
regional SQD function governance mode / plan and Report monthly performance.

？
Support
supplier selection and strategy development through strong interface with
Aftermarket Commodity team

？
Lead and
conduct leadership meetings with suppliers relative to supplier development
activities and drive follow-up process

？
Define
regional annual process/product audit plan

？
Demonstrate
leadership and build relationships with key internal stakeholders

？
Develop and
strengthen the supplier quality development team and build a strong talent
pipeline

？
Manage
escalations related to supplier quality issues.

Relationships:

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Master / Bachelor with Mechanical or
  Electrical Engineering required.
• More than 10 years’ experiences as supplier
  quality engineer in auto industry required.
• Practiced in PPAP procedure and able to review
  PPAP submission compliance. Preferably in charge of supplier PPAPs.
• Familiar with one or two manufacturing process
  not limited to molding, die casting, stamping, soldering, machining,
  welding, PCBA and measuring plus GD&T.
• Good know-how of Lean manufacturing and tools,
  Cost break-down analysis, and supply chain management.
• Excellent Quality system IATF16949 knowledge
  and experience.
• Strong problem solving competency and
  experience.
• Persevered under pressure and self-disciplined.
• Good English communication skills, both
  written and oral.
• Good reporting skills
• Diligent and Objective-oriented.
• Be willing and able to travel extensively.
• Demonstrated
  ability to work independently.
